A cold wind was blowing, pushing the couple forward, and nipping at their backs. Grey clouds were rolling in, the path they were on was growing darker.
“Scared yet?” Draco asked, looking at Hermione beside him.
She turned, narrowing her eyes at him, as they walked farther into park. She held onto his hand tighter and they started to go under a heavily wooded area of the park. Hermione glanced around when the wind started to pick up, howling through the trees.
Draco leaned down and kissed the top of her head. Even though she wasn’t showing it, he knew that nightfall always brought out her fears, he pulled her closer to him.
The sun had set, and now those grey clouds were turning a deep lavender, which lasted a short while before turning into black. Hermione felt a rush of cold air and knew she should have worn a thicker jacket coming out.
All of the sudden, a bright light filled the sky on the horizon in front of them-blurred by the trees swaying harshly in the wind. A loud boom filled the air, causing the couple both to jump up.
“Are YOU scared now, Draco?” She asked, although Draco could tell that she was slightly on edge. He chuckled, and then a heavy downpour started to drench them both. Hermione looked up at his light, icy eyes and started laughing more than she had after the war.
